Cornerstone Earth Group, Inc. was retained by ๐&๐ฆ ๐๐ผ๐บ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ป๐ถ๐ฒ๐ to perform a geotechnical investigation for ๐ ๐ผ๐ป๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ด๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ถ๐ฟ๐ฝ๐ผ๐ฟ๐โ๐ ๐ง๐ฎ๐ ๐ถ๐๐ฎ๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ป ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐น๐ผ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ท๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ comprising of a new apron area for the new terminal building, aircraft asphalt pavement areas to the north and east of the new apron, and modifications to Taxiway A surrounding the new apron and terminal building.
Cornerstone also performed borehole percolation testing to evaluate infiltration rates for the proposed infiltration basin area. In addition, bulk soil samples were collected for CBR testing to determine if the new terminal concrete apron could be supported directly on cement treated soil without supporting layers beneath the concrete apron.
