Several members of Cornerstone Earth Group, Inc. staff recently attended a developers panel luncheon hosted by the Silicon Valley chapter of the (NAIOP). The event was held at the ๐๐บ๐ฒ๐๐๐ฒ๐น๐น ๐๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐น in Mountain View that, coincidentally, is a development Cornerstone provided environmental and geotechnical engineering services for, as well as for the adjacent office building, now occupied by ๐๐ผ๐ผ๐ด๐น๐ฒ.
The developerโs panel, consisting of Yayu Lin of ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ด๐ถ๐ ๐๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐ฝ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐ก๐ผ๐ฟ๐๐ต๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ป ๐๐ฎ๐น๐ถ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ป๐ถ๐ฎ, Marcus Gilmour of ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ฒ ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐๐ป๐ฒ๐ฟ๐, ๐๐๐, Adam Voelker of ๐ง๐ฟ๐ฎ๐บ๐บ๐ฒ๐น๐น ๐๐ฟ๐ผ๐ ๐๐ผ๐บ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ป๐ and Shawn Hardy of ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ๐, engaged in a thought-provoking discussion about the state of the commercial real estate market in Silicon Valley. Although the prognosis as to the macro conditions of the greater market varied among the panelists, they all agreed commercial real estate trends were improving in the Bay Area, and forecast greater market improvement in 2023 for Silicon Valley specifically, as compared to virtually anywhere else in the country.
