Built in 1925, the Bank of Italy Building is one of the oldest towers (14-stories) in Silicon Valley. Designed by H. A. Minton, it was the tallest building between San Francisco and Los Angeles until 1970. Cornerstone Earth Group, Inc. recently collected soil samples from underneath this historic structure to establish soil quality and to facilitate soil disposal options prior to installing ground improvements. Shown here are images of the lobby, the bank vault, and a street view of the iconic exterior.
