Recently, a group of intrepid Cornerstone Earth Group, Inc. employees went on a backpacking trip in the Emigrant Wilderness in the Stanislaus National Forest. They began the hike at Gianelli Trailhead in Pinecrest.
By all reports it was a lot of fun, and the Cornerstone Crew had a great time. Although along the way, they had to endure some hardships, including eating trail food and fending off an attack by a ferocious wild chipmunk.
Some of the hikers claimed the campfire food was delicious. But, they seemed to be awfully hungry by the time they arrived back in civilization!
